New Haven Public Schools (NHPS) and the New Haven Lexinome Project (NHLP) working together.

The New Haven Lexinome Project would not be possible without a close partnership with the New Haven Public Schools (NHPS). The NHPS have been exemplary partners in our research since the Genes, Reading and Dyslexia (GRaD) Study conducted in schools throughout the district from 2010 through 2014.

This continued collaboration will allow the New Haven Lexinome Project to reach all NHPS first graders who enroll and take place in all NHPS elementary schools.  New Haven Public Schools are  committed to better educational outcomes for all children, and particularly in reading outcomes for first graders.  This unique overlap places the New Haven Lexinome Project at both the cutting edge of research and on the ground where the learning happens.
