The New Haven Lexinome Project (NHLP) is a longitudinal study of the genetics of dyslexia in a public school setting. This project is a partnership with the New Haven Public Schools. The goals of the study are to create a pre-symptomatic, genetic screener for dyslexia, examine genetic and environmental connections to reading and learning disability, examine language and attention connections to reading ability, and investigate the possibility of genetics enhanced intervention selection.

Our team is comprised of a wonderfully diverse  group who share a commitment to enhancing learning opportunities for young people in our community.  Our team of scientists, research assistants, community recruiters, clinical psychologists, educators, and graduate students work collaboratively with New Haven Public Schools in an effort to improve reading and learning outcomes for early learners.

We are excited to meet  you and to embark on this new learning adventure together!
